CONCEPT
 
The concept for the campaign microsite consisted of 3 parts: the invitation, the challenge and the experience.
 
The invitation to discover the product was posted in professional photograhy forums, consumer product sites, photography related sites, blogs, etc, as traffic drivers. The challenge was a set of questions the
user was prompted with to test if he was ready for the EOS 40D.
 
 
The experince was a 3D space to which the user was granted access upon completing the challenge.
In the 3D space the user would interact with the camera and a set of floating statements that surround it.

 
The interaction is done by grabbing and dragging the camera around (through a pre-scripted path) which at the same time triggers the movements of the floating statements around the 3D environment. The camera has hotspots where the user can click to get feature information.
